Help me out with gaming notebook
Hello and thanks for reading I am currently searching for a gaming notebook and have narrowed it down to alienware m9700 or the toshiba sattelite both very nice but heres the deal I'm not sure which is better the amd turion 64 or the centrino core duo for gaming are they both equal? or will the turion play better just curious and my price range is around 1800-2200 of these 2 laptops which one should i buy i really like the toshiba's looks and style but fear the core duo isnt as powerful as an amd processor please help me decide as i look to buy a new notebook in next few days!

Oh also will the core duo support vista and does the toshiba sattelite and alienware come capable for vista

Before deciding, take a quick look at the SAGER NP5760. I think you'll like it more than either of the two you're looking at.

whats the dif between the sager and the toshiba i cannot find one boht nice both got gtx graphics, 1024 ram and 80 gigs of hard space both have duo

Take a look at 3DMark05 benchscores. The Sager outperforms the Satellite. There are other things inside a laptop besides processor, RAM, and HD. Sager's build quality is generally higher than Toshiba's as well. While Toshiba is a mainstream brand, Sager is built for gaming (I think...haha).

Generally speaking, Alienware's are quite expensive compared to similarly spec'ed SAGER's. Alienware's upgrades are very expensive.
I think the Toshiba is the weakest of the three. And I personally would opt for the SAGER--considering I could get higher end components for less money AND great service from a reputable reseller.
