I would get the Ferrari since it's really hard for me to get used to the OSX. Also, I don't like the looks of the Macbook, it's quality seems to be made from cheap plastic casing. And one final point, the performance on the Ferrari 500 would be much GREATER than any mac or macbook. Do not expect to play much games if any at all on the Macs.

i don't think that's the case anymore. the new macbook pros have an excellent gpu, x1600 i believe, and intel duo core processors. that, along with one of the best screens in the market. i'm with you on OSX tho. it's a great OS if you're not already a pro on XP, like i am. i'm debating a new laptop, and thought about macbook pro, but just can't justify it when i'm so used to supporting and working on windows...

OSX takes some getting used to but I like it quite well interface wise. The gaming on the Macs has been gaining quite a bit since OSX was first released. But still, I use XP Pro because it is still a much better gaming support.
If u do graphics/video design and editing I say go mac. But for me, everything else I use my HP Laptop :cool:
The latest mac desktop shows gaming promise. Dual Xeons, support for 4 video cards. We will see in the coming months/years if they ever get to take advantage of this power.
Wait and see is my view for that.

as much as i want a ferrari..its the same reason not to get one..talk about STICKING OUT..macbooks stick out noticeably less..oh and on that note better include the lambo vx1 from asus too

Well you don't say which Ferrari you have. If it is the 5000, then ya yours is more powerful. If it is the 4000 it would be more powerfull in games only, everything else that Mac would be better. If you the 1000, the results would be similar to the 4000, except the gaming gap would be a lot less and the Macs processor advantage would also shrink significantly.
I don't know how much those Ferrari's go for so I can't comment there, and I refuse to delve into the OS question.

they go for 2,000-2,500$ and they are being compared to macbooks!!!
They should compared to MBP's..Even then they suck!!
