high end notebook for audio+video / desktop replacement
hi there!
i have to buy a notebook because im switching from hardware audio production to software and i'm planning to do some video editing aswell, i have some special requests like firewire ports, 7200 rpm HD and good build quality. could anyone give me some notebook recommendations?

Consider a Dell? I'm not aware of too many companies that ship to Belgium... that's probably why you don't have many replies. Do you know of any companies or places that sell laptops there? Any way you could narrow things down for those of us who don't live there?

i have no problems at all to get the following brands:
lenovo
acer
fujitsu
dell
i think i can also get those without much problems
lg
samsung
and on the spec side, a core 2 duo is probably what i need, so it could help excluding some models.
from what i've read so far, the ones meeting my interest are:
LG S1
ACER TM 8210
but i have no idea of equivalent machines with other brands.
LENOVO 3000 N 1000 / X60 / wich are best?
HP DV 6000 / 8000 / 9000 (not sure of numbers, assuming the newer ones)
