Is the 1.73GHz and the 1GB extra Ram worth the extra 200 euros?
Is there a lot of difference in speed between 1.73 / 1.66 Ghz?
What about the graphics card, is it any good?
Are Acer good laptops in general or should i just get another laptop for that money?
I will us my laptop for internet, word, putting videotapes to DVD, making MP3's from my old vinyl records and some amateur Photoshop editing.
I also want to be sure i'm able to run VISTA Premium on it.

acer offers a lot for the money, though its build quality is average, like dells. the difference in processor speed is negligible, thought the extra ram may be helpful for gaming and other things. i don't know how much 1 gig costs in europe, though. the gpu is probably more than you need for what you do, and should be fine with vista...though i am not sure about vista premium b/c i think it has some weird specifications....

i have an acer(below) it is amazing for quality and reliablility, not exactly a speed demon but not to bad, really.
it always turns on, when every i need to do something.
it is compatable with things our windows xp desktop is not. (don't know why)
i would go with the acer with 2gb ram,
the x1600 graphics card is the best card that is put in a 15.4'' i believe(right now)
it will be vista compatible and likely vista premium but not to sure.
acer's are not bad quality, like some people say...
