Question:
AW 9700 vs mALX.
Is the dual geforce 7900GTX a considerable improvement over the dual 7900GS? By how much? Is the heat cooling and dicipation of both laptops good? Because I don't want my AW to turn off or to underclock because of overheating. Can a laptop really do SLI (most likely a 512MB GTX SLI) without any overheating issues?
Also, can alienware ship the laptop to Colombia? Do you know any other companies or so that can ship the notebook to my country?

It definatly is is! A single 7900GTX can beat the 7900GS. In fact, i've read an article that states that the single GS can make performance even better! (if you want the link, all you have to do is ask). Don't worry about overheating, the mALX is a very sturdy notebook (you cant possibly fit the f$*$# on your lap). And to answer your shipping question, it looks like alienware can ship to colombia! Just to make sure though, just go to the website and look it up.

BTW, why not consider the Dell XPS M1710? That's got a single GTX and I find the keyboard (ive used it) to be much more efficient for gaming (you will be using it to game....right?), especially the Ctrl key in the bottom left hand corner, the alienware has the Fn key there. The number pad doesnt help the alienware layout, they squeezed a lot of keys to fit it on. Dell should be available everywhere and the XPS when compared to the inspirons are NOT cheap and flimsyish
