advice please... gateway Nx860XL vs e1705 w/7950GX2
hi all... i was wondering if i could get some advice..
I just got an 17" nx860xl with the 7900GS in the mail (2.16 core 2, 2 gigs 667 ram, 100g 7200 HD, 12 cell bat) i paid $2500 for it with a 3 year warrenty
im considering sending it back
I currently have a quote from dell for a e1705 with the same hardware (-) the 12 cell bat and warrenty.. THey cant offer the GTX card in that series of notebook so they will give me the 7950 GX2 for $2693 out the door.
What should i do? How much of a difference will the Gx2 make? Does anyone use one now? How is the power usage and heat output? Can the e1705 even handle the GX2?

The Nvidia GeForce 7950GX2 is a desktop, dual-GPU video card. I think they confused your quote.
