Do I need a 'business' class notebook?

Question:
Do I need a 'business' class notebook?
I need a notebook to use for my business as well as for my own personal use. I would like to stay under $1500.00. I don't play games. I primarily use Peachtree, Excel, IE, and Thunderbird. I also want a DVD burner, 1GB RAM and atleast a 60 GB HD. I am interested in a 15.4 inch wide screen panel.
Does anyone see any reason why I would need a 'business' class notebook? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for systems that fit this description for this price?
Thanks!

business class will usually take a little bit more punishment than your 'low end' notebook...

My recommendation is a Latitude D820 from Dell Outlet (delloutlet.com). Business-class refurb with a 3-year on-site warranty for about $1000, given the specs you've listed. Available in WSXGA, too, if you like kind of a high resolution.

you could also check out the hp nx7400, nx6325 or thinkpad t60/z61.

Basically, business class laptops are built with better build quality, better customer service, and more security features, such as fingerprint scanner, etc. etc.
I don't have any recommendations, but you should consider those qualities of a business class laptop.
