Re: Help me find a laptop please.
A WSXGA+ screen is tough to get for $1,100. Two notebooks you could look at are the Dell E1505 and the Lenovo 3000 N100. Both offer that screen resolution. The Lenovo will have a better keyboard and quality than the Dell, but you will probably get more for your money with the Dell and it has an option for a better video card (Radeon X1400 vs. GeForce Go7300 in the Lenovo).
If you get rid of the screen resolution requirement, then the HP dv6000t is worth looking at.

Yeah I put both the WS and the standard screen on there. No prefrence really though.
Also other then directly from dell ect. Where are some good places to try and order from? If I order directly from dell, Hp, ect. I get to pay all the extra taxes.

Re: Help me find a laptop please.
Dell only sells notebooks directly so if you want one of those you will have to go through them.
With regards to standard notebooks, there are very few of those on the market, and none of them that have a dedicated video card (necessary for those games) are within your budget.
HPs are sold at most retail stores so you could check there, but they are preconfigured and you'll most likely have to pay tax anyway.
