Comparison ASUS V6J vs ASUS A8mj

Question:
Comparison ASUS V6J vs ASUS A8mj
Okay, ive been looking at both of these choices. I am actually more inclined to the A8mj shell from Portableone.com.
My question though is, why is the ASUS V6J Series at:
http://store.agearnotebooks.com/asusv6j.html
1899$$
while the A8mj ASUS from Portableone.com (the MX series) is 1599$$.
They both seem to weigh about the same, have same base processor... the V6J has a weaker GPU and a larger screen...(the larger screen maybe, is the difference? *confused*)

You'll probably get more answers to this question in the Asus forum. But basically, the V6j is more expensive because the Asus W and V notebooks generally have more "bling" in the chassis and build than the A line of notebooks.
That doesn't mean the A8jm is poorly built, but it's not as "premium" as the V6j. Search the Asus forum for some close-up pictures of both, and you'll see what I mean.
By the way, I think the V6j has a rebate of $200 being offered by some dealiers right now...?

Re: Comparison ASUS V6J vs ASUS A8mj
The V and W series from ASUS are the higher end ensemble units. The A and Z series are the value and/or build-to-order units. The V6J is very thin and very light for a 15" notebook, and may have better construction (at least "better" materials like aluminum and carbon fiber vs. plastic). Also, some people don't like widescreen notebooks, so that may affect the price (or not).
