around 2000euro, I dont have to pay taxes so prize of 2500 in shop is alright.

15.4 so it fits in my bag.

I multitask allot, using Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver at the same time.
4) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
Have to take it to school each day, and work, often have to walk around with it too.
5) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
sometimes, mainly subspace but would like to be able to play battlefield 2 on laptop.
6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
I like Acer since it has good prize/quality ratio

if no other option I dont mind

I'm used to widescreen, but ye like stated before I'd like a 15.4 screen

Pretty big issue for my on my current laptop is that the maximum resolution is 1280x800 I like 1600x1200,
e. WSXGA+ - 1680x1050; Wider viewing version of SXGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.

I've pretty much decided to buy the Acer Travelmate 8200 ( http://www.laptops4u.nl/info/lxtax06...wlmib-839.html ) but am not sure if it's the best buy for the money, would like to have some input.

i would take a look at the hp nc8430. it has better build quality and seems to have overall a lot less mentioned problems than the acer. i am unsure if it is available in netherlands though. on a side note, i don't know if you're watching the world cup, but i was rooting for netherlands! the finishing was disappointing...they should have put vanistelrooy (sp?) in.

Ok, did google it, got onto a dutch website which sells it, it's allot cheaper than the Acer actually, its 1600 without tax 1300. Thats not necceserily a good thing since I want the best there is to get for around 2000euro.
ram is 1024 MB.. I like this to be 2048
on videocard its 256MB at the acer its 512MB
rest looks all pretty much the same as with the acer which is good, ah ya HD is 100GB instead of 120GB but thats ok.. This one is very interesting thanks hope more replys will come
