Question:
IBM Thinkpad Z61t or T60?
I'm going to college in the fall and I'm required to get one of the two. I'm not too concerned with price because they're both pretty close. I'm going to be a business major. I'm more concerned with quality, size, weight, and memory. I don't know much about computers but the only difference between them that I see on the sheet I was given is Z61t has "integrated graphics" and T60 has "128MB ATI X1400 graphics"...I have no idea what those are.
So if anyone has any suggestions as to which one you think would be the better choice...please share!
One more thing... does the Z61t come with the built in camera?

Get the T60. It's faster and better and suites more for business needs.

If you don't game the graphics card won't matter.

one of the notebooks in the z61 series does have a webcam. what do you mean by size? the t60 comes in 14" or 15". the smaller notebook will obviously be more portable. you'll have to be more specific about what you want to know about the size.

Buy the T60 its all business no gimmicks. Its IBMs flagship computer, the T series has been around forever. Its probably not worth the extra money considering your needs but in my opinion its one of the best notebooks out there. My dad has a T43 its the best notebook keyboard to type period, I have a x41 as well as an Thinkpad 350 from 1993 with 25mhz...still works. Probably hard to go wrong with either but I would opt for the T60 if for no other reason than its the flagship.

The weird thing is that when buying from my school, the T60 is more expensive. But I feel like the Z61t has more going on, which is why I'm leaning towards it. Maybe there's something about the T60 that I'm not seeing that's makign it more expensive.
