Question:
HP NX6110 or IBM R51E ?
I need low budget laptop and i am in doubt betwen this two models:
HP NX6110 (Celeron M370 1.5GHz 1MB, 512mb, 40GB (4200), DVD RW, XGA 1024x768, intel video onboard M900 128mb, WLAN ) - 920$
IBM thinkpad R51E UR16NCX ( Celeron M370 1.5GHz 1MB, 512mb, 40GB (5400), ATI Radeon onboard X200, XGA 1024x768, WLAN) - 1050$
I didnt get chance to see this notebooks and i only can order one .... i'm interesting in screen quality in this modeles and which screen is better, IBM is 130$ expensive then HP, but it is "IBM" and HDD is on 5400 rpm (hp is on 4200).
I choose this two couse of build and keyboard quality (it is gona serve from programming and stuff).
So screen quality is my issue and because i cant see this models live i expect expiriance forum user to help me decide.
THanks

I personally would go with IBM,because for that $130, it's worth it IMO. The ATi onboard, the build quality and the faster hard drive.

I think like most matte screens, the viewing angles won't be great, but as long as you are relatively on center it should look good. I think the 5400RPM drive, better quality and keyboard on the ThinkPad are worth $130.
