http://istnc.com/store/products.php?cat=197
this clevo is the same thing with a different name
ok now check this out
your superman is core duo x1800
sager 5670 is core duo 7900 gtx better.
the case on the sager well um... although its better the case on the superman alienware does look nice it has nice paint.
oh ya if you are going alienware i would consider the m9700 over the superman definitely. might as well get ridiculous if thats the budget and the brand.

HP nc8430 might be worth a look.

Re: gaming laptop for college
yeah, I liked the Clevo M570U-based systems but the cases are kind of bland and places like hypersonic pc charge exorbitant amounts of money for a paint job.
I really wanted a Turion64 x2 machine but I really don't like any of the current offerings... even the Ferrari 5000 is going to be x1600 based I hear...
Do you know of any reliable places that will do a laptop paint job?

Re: gaming laptop for college
Except for the battery life, Dell XPS M1710 would do. (The one wif the 7900GTX)

Re: gaming laptop for college
From the games you listed an X1600 will suit you fine, playing everything on max settings. I'd go Core Duo over Turion X2 as it's faster.
I wouldn't go Alienware. They use the same stuff as Sager, Hypersonic, Voodoo, etc. Get whatever's cheapest, if you like something of theirs.
My recommendation is an Asus W2JB. My list was pretty much like yours (besides games) and I'm **** happy.

Re: gaming laptop for college
I can do a paintjob for you and build the system. The reason painting is so expensive is the quality. At least with infinity we use automotive quality paint that will last for years and years without fading. And we don't just do solid colors we do full on designs which takes alot of time and paint (all of our machines have about 6-7 layers paint)
Let me know if your interested
