Awesome deal on Dell XPS M1710 on Ebay
this is unbelievable.......juss saw a couple of really awesome deals on ebay for the XPS M1710...being sold by power sellers with great reputation. Can't understand what kind of scam are they trying to pull off.......how can they offer a XPS M1710 Red Color Edition...wid 2.13ghz coreduo, 2gb 667mhz ram, 100gb 7200 rpm hdd, 512mb 7900gtx, wifi, 9 cell battery, xp mce for just $2900!!!.........when i configure the machine on the dell website it retails over 4000$.
I'm totally baffled....what do u guys suggest......is it worth going in for.....or is there a catch....

The 30% off EEP coupon would get you a great deal on an XPS. better than $2900 most likely. Thats how they can do it.

Dont worry they are making money out of it. I suspect them are making as much as $300-400, probably more with these sells.

I wish my epp coupon was 50% or 75%, not 30%. Or i can spec a m1710 to 6000 dollars and only pay like 1500.

The 30% off EEP coupon would get you a great deal on an XPS. better than $2900 most likely. Thats how they can do it.
You would be correct sir. A few days ago I used a 30% off coupon wuth an additional a 12% EPP discount. I ended up paying $2,417.18 for almost the same config. incuding a 3 year hardware warranty and ADP protection. At checkout, after seeing all the discounts being applied, I almost cried tears of joy.

You dont "need" a "personal" EPP accnt - indeed such a thing does not exist. You only need to know someone with an EPP accnt and get their organisations member id.

So are these EPP coupons stackable with, say, the $750 off coupon Dell offers? Or are the current sales a much better deal?

Not stackable.
The 750 off dell coupons are not a deal at all for XPS as they can only eb applied on inspiron notebooks.
Current 30% off + 12% off EPP holds on ALL systems
