Question:
Business class C2D barebones?
Maybe I'm a bit of a control freak, but I really want to pick out every specific component for my notebook. But I really much prefer the sturdiness and monotone look of business notebooks.
Only other prereq would be two open dimm slots and dedicated graphics memory.

Sold. That notebook is still the absolute best value out there by a wide margin. I don't know how many times I've recommended them even after selling mine.

I was also going to suggest rjtech.com. They have excellent prices. I believe gentech.com does as well.
Perhaps a Compal HEL80? Not specifically business-class but it does kind of have the look of one.
