The HP dv2000t starts at $579 and is found in stores, but for a good configuration you can expect to spend around $1000. Make sure to get a model with a Go7200 graphics card.

Re: Business/Video Editing Laptop
I would suggest against a 15.4" if you want to take this machine with you all the time.
The HP dv2000t C. mentioned is an excellent choice and will make a good fit for your needs. It is very multimedia-oriented. The HP dv6000t is a consideration for a 15.4".
Also consider the Dell Latitude D620 if you want something more professional-looking. It does not have a glossy screen nor multimedia controls on the outside like the HP does, but it is sturdier and has an option for a higher-resolution display. For a 15.4" business machine, look at the Dell Latitude D820.

Thanks for all of your help. I've decided that I'll probably only be able to get everything I need by configuring it online. Let me ask this, which would be a better route for me.

Re: Business/Video Editing Laptop
The HP machines will offer better quality than those.
Between the two, I would be inclined to recommend the Dell because it is a solid system with a good keyboard; Toshibas feel rather flimsy in my opinion and their keyboards are subpar.
