what are the different pros and cons between these two laptops? I think i have finally narrowed it down to them.

Do you mean the HEL80 or the HGL30? They're 2 different machines...one's the 14 inch, one's the 15 inch. It matters. :)

HEL80 is a 15.4" notebook. The HGL30 is a 14" and so is the A8jm. One con for the HEL80 is it has an underclocked 7600, while the A8jm's 7600 isn't underclocked and has 512MB's of dedicated video memory. But also check out the A8js, it has the Nvidia 7700 as well as a Core 2 Duo.
