On the desk most of the time.

Ye, only to avoid working - Battlefield 2, Enemy Territory ect.
6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Not really. Apple Mac Pro seems to have all the components and features I'd need, BUT all my software is for PC..so a pc with same features probably would be wiser than using bootcamp allday..
7) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Average 3hours is ok.
8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?
Not really.

d. WXGA or WXGA+ - 1280x768/800 or 1440x900; Wider viewing version of XGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
e. WSXGA+ - 1680x1050; Wider viewing version of SXGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
WXGA or WSXGA+, don't really know if WSXGA+ reso is too much for the eyes after a time..
12) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen?
Doesn't mind as long as the screen is good quality. I'll be using external LCD monitor for more detailed work..
Build Quality and Design
13) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you?
I like it simple and black if possible.
14) When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last?
ASAP and say for some years (4).

DVD-RW
PLUS important:
- Intel Duo 2 (at least 2.0Ghz)
- DVI connection (most of the new intel ones seem to lack this..weird)
- Wireless LAN
- Bluetooth
- RAM minimum 2GB (upgradeable to 3 or 4 GBs)

Mac Pro is a design desktop. I think you mean the MacBook Pro. And I agree with you, there's no sense buying a Mac and using Windows all day.
I don't know too much about DVIs and stuff and I dont' really pay attention to notebooks with Bluetooth, but how about the HP Compaq NC8430. Other than the Bluetooth and DVI things, which I'm not sure if they have, the NC8430 really fits your category.

The nc8430 has built-in (or the capability for) built-in bluetooth (I think one or more of the pre-configured models doesn't have it). It works nicely with my MS BT mouse and syncs beautifully with my Dell Axim PDA.
The nc8430 does not have a DVI port built-in, but any of the docks you get have it (along with a bunch of other ports).
