Question:
difference between toshibas?
I was looking at toshiba for a notebook I am going to buy before college and a good friend of mine has the Satellite M105-S3041. Although this is an outdated model it ran great the specs are...Intel Core Solo Processor T1350, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, DVD SuperMulti Drive. He upgraded his ram to 1 GB. When i was looking at newer notebooks i saw the Satellite M115-S3144. This has...Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5200, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive, SuperMulti DVD. Price difference doesnt matter much but the only thing that turns me off to this is the battery life it only 2 hours and 47 minutes when the first notebook had 5 hours and 41 minutes. Is it the processor that makes this huge difference or the ram or what? It the power worth losing 3 hours of battery life? what are your opinions?

Re: difference between toshibas?
look at the max battery life, most toshiba laptops have a power saver program with allows you to run slower but it would still last about 5 hours (i have the toshiba a100 mine on full power lasts about 3 hrs, but if i slow the processor down and the screen brightness i lag i little bit but i still get about 5hrs of life) hope this helps you decide
