I prefer the DV2000T because I have expirience with HP and their products and I prefer the 14.1" screen.

All the dell people Ive talked to are a pain to talk to and dont give you straight answers, never had a problem with hp tech support and they treat you well. And i'd take hp > dell any day for quality and design, dell might have the better price depending on if you can find a 25% or 30% coupond but then again HP had a nice sale a couple weeks ago as the people on the forum will tell you

The best way to get useful feedback is to post your answers to our FAQ. That way you can give us an idea of what you're looking for and what you need the notebook for. Otherwise, you're only going to get brand preference--which is a very personal and subjective thing.
And the e1505 vs. dv2000t is not exactly an even comparison. If you'd like I can change it to either dv6000t or e1405.

Well, I'm returning the Dell d820 and buying an HP dv2000t so you can guess my vote.
The dv2000t is the model I first liked in the store out of all the ones I saw - including the premium Sony SZ's. Guess I should have trusted my first instinct.
