My budget has dropped a little, I posted this last week with pretty much the same answers to the questions. Was just curious if there was anything else, since I'm not sure if a clevo m570u will fit my new budget.

Compal Hel80, asus z96, asus g1 for the 15.4" would for your needs
and for the 17" would be dell e1705, Toshiba Satelite P105 abd Hp dv9000t
take a look to those, i was looking for laptop to and im getting it this week, i get asus G1, should be great.

You can talk down the Gateway NX860XL from $1899 + $20 shipping by at about $100 (tell them you can get the dell e1705 with relatively same settings for $50 cheaper after coupons), they will bite.
specs: t7200, 2gb-667 ram, 7900gs, 1920x1200 wuxga or ultrabright wsxga+, 80gb 7200rpm HD, 802.11g, 6in1 card reader, 8-cell battery, bluetooth, MCE, number pad, platinum finish.

I really like the Toshiba P100, but it's a bit above your $1800 budget. Also in the P100's range is the Clevo M570U-A from RJtech. That's a great system.
But under budget, your best bet is probably the Dell e1705 with the go 7900 GS. The HP dv9000t looks nicer but has a less powerful go 7600 in it.
EDIT: I think I mixed up the Toshiba's. I meant to reference the P100 with go 7900 GTX.
