Computer-Less! Please Help!
Hi! Second post y'all. As of the moment, I am completely "computer-less" (on a relatives computer) and I was strongly leaning towards getting a laptop (new, used, refurbished, its all good)
Thing is, I havent found an item I am looking for... Iv'e searched through alot of sites: bestbuy, circuitcity, dell, newegg, pctorque, tekstation, pricewatch, just to name a few... The sites however did not appeal to me.
What I'm looking for is a laptop $1000 and under that can play games... Soley games...
Throw the weight, battery life, speakers, screen size, everything "conservative" you can think of out the window... I just don't care for that stuff. (sorry if I sound too straightforward)
What I'm looking for is a laptop with around 20-30 gigs of HD space, ample RAM (of course), an ample graphics card (of course), etc... Just focus on gaming...
I understand $1000 and under isn't going to get me P4 3.06 ATI 9700 SUPER DOOPER laptop, but I just want the BEST GAMING laptop that is for $1000 and under...
I also dont mind a "potential" gaming laptop thats under $1000. What I mean by "potential" is that one can upgrade the laptop for better gaming with ones own money. Meaning I can upgrade a laptop that has 128 MB of RAM to 512 MB in the future with my own money. Same thing goes with the video cards.
If you guys can refer me somewhere or something, that will be great!

I'd look at the Dell i8600 then. In this case you can upgrade to a better video card, more RAM and a faster hard drive...even processor if you really want to. With sales or picking out of their outlet store, you should be able to stay near budget.
