Question:
Help me decide: Dell M1210, HP dv2132 or Asus A8F ?
My Old Thread with FAQs answered:
I noticed that the old thread was not getting any more vews, so decided to create a new one for choosing a notebook finally !!
I have to choose one from the following:
1. Dell XPS M1210
2. Asus A8F
3. HP Pavillion DV2132
i will be taking the notebook out with me, will be doing some coding(PHP,HTML etc) and Photoshop.
what do you people suggest?

I would skip the Dell if you have no interest in gaming; in my opinion, it is only worth getting if you will be opting for the Go7400 dedicated graphics card. Also, a 12" screen is very small in my opinion to be running Photoshop on and coding.
The Asus A8F sounds like the best choice here but I don't know a whole lot about Asus notebooks, so you are best off checking out our dedicated Asus forum for details on quality. I know the A-series notebook is not exactly high-end.
Do you have specifications for the Asus + HP you could list here?

Thanks for posting those.
The HP has the advantage when it comes to specifications, but it won't be as well built as the Asus (the HP still has very good quality though). If you can put in another 512MB - 1GB of memory in the Asus, then go for that.
