Advice please, buying laptop tommorow.

Question:
Advice please, buying laptop tommorow.
I'm having difficulty choosing between two laptops. I am going to be using it for audio (cubase sx and reason) so there will be a lot of multitasking. Which do you recommend. I know they both kind of suck, but I'm very cheap.

If you are multitasking, the Core Duo is clearly the better CPU.

What is your Canadian Postal Code? I can't view the web page without that. ;)
A dual-core CPU is best for multitasking as ZaZ said. If you would like more suggestions, please complete our FAQ.

Okay, well I'll probably get the core duo one. It's just difficult for me because I see that I'm paying more for a lower clock speed. I guess clock speed isn't everything.

I guess clock speed isn't everything. That is correct. Clockspeed meant something back in the days of the Pentium 4, but today, it takes a backseat to the processor itself. As long as you have an Intel Core Duo or other Core-based processor, you'll be fine. The Core Duo T2050 may be the lowest rung on the Core Duo ladder but I assure you it will handle everything you throw at it.
