HI! I'm new here and I would appreciate some help!
I'm going to purchase a laptop very soon and I found one that looked great and had a good price tag. From my understanding of computers (which isn't that great), I was able to determine that it was a fairly good laptop. Can you please submit your opinions about this machine to me so I can confirm my purchase. All help is appreciated.

what are you going to use it for? fill out the FAQ
that is many a word proccessing machine won't play games well, at least not newer ones.
it will not do video encode well (i trying, ripping a 2 hour dvd on my 1.5ghz celeron took 13 hours and compressing to WMV 9)
so it all comes down to what you are using it for.
