HIYA!!
I am going to be using this laptop for typing up school projects via microsoft word, playing java games, downloading music, downloading videos, listening to music, viewing videos and internet browsing. I am probably going to have a couple of things open at once.
Do you think this is good enough for my needs? I really like how it looks and the price is amazing considering it's 1Gig of RAM!!
What do you think?

also with the shared video you will lose 128 meg of ram and it will only play very basic games i personally don't find that a problem

It is a great notebook for your needs. I must say that 700$ is a lot for that notebook though. At Christmas (when they had sales in America) you could buy a dual core HP for that price.

IMHO - I don't think it's a good deal at all. But that's just me. You might want to take a look at www.newegg.com
they have the nascar edition notebooks that are better specs and cheaper than that.

You could always buy another 1G of ram for 80 bucks and have a 1.5G of RAM computer for under $600 bucks.
