Question:
Ferrari vs Lamborghini?
If given a choice between the two, which would you go with? The Acer Ferrari 5000 or the ASUS Lamborghini VX1? Both are pretty high powered and pretty expensive to boot. Even though I'm content with my Toyota-like Toshiba I can always dream can't I? :)

I'd personally get the Asus, seeing as I own one already and the VX1 is one solid/sweet looking machine. I'd be more than willing to give up the X1600 of the Ferrari for the C-D and Asus build, and that's no small statement since I like my games =D

I'd go the Ferrari. The Lamborghini's have crap video chips for what they are.
But I personally like my machine... one of the best values for the dollar out there ;)

Asus Lamborghini because I hate Ferrari and everything about it, including laptops in it's name.
Having said that I would probably get an Alienware Aurora anyway. More customisable and even specced up nicely I'd save £100.

Well, the VX1 is just the V6j with a few modifications.
When the Vx2 and Vx3 comes out, perhaps that will be a fair comparison.

I ll go for the ferrari. The Lambo is a joke (no widescreen, small gpu)... Thou i would like the intel CPU in the ferrari, but that's just not possible.

Asus deserves the spotlight. While I agree with you, it seems that the entire NBR Forums are Asus-dominated...you have to agree that Asus has nice models and good quality.
Unfortunately, I am an Asus fan. Even more unforunately, I don't like the Lamborghini. I think the Acer Ferrari looks better :D.
