Hey, I'm dizzy too!

Question:
Hey, I'm dizzy too!
Really, I know I'm not the only one completely confused by all of the options in a notebook, so I'll not be ashamed!
I'm just now starting to do some reading on laptops. I'm a photographer, so I need to run CS2 photoshop on my new system. I'd like to have a DVD burner too. And, that is about it. All the other stuff is important, I'm sure...
Dual core, 1 maybe 2 gigs of Ram, and a 7200rpm HD seem like good things to get for now. I was at my local Best Buy, and this was the laptop suggested
but, after doing some reading, I think I might be better to get a unit with the 7200 HD. Not sure. I have been warned not to get my stuff at Best Buy already, and that is why I'm here attempting to get schooled, fast!

Re: Hey, I'm dizzy too!
HP dv2000t with Core 2 Duo and 2Gb RAM would be a good option. It's lighter than the dv6000 and packs pretty much the same power. That one for sale at Best Buy is a dv6000z, which has AMD Turion X2 dual-core processor. It's not bad, at all, but why buy that if you can have Intel's Core 2 Duo for virtually the same price.

Lenovo Thinkpads are much better quality than HP laptops, although HPs are not bad at all. They are top-notch quality, Thinkpads.
