Budget laptop
My mom is only willing to spend around 400 for a laptop and she needs to be able to download music surf internet wirelessly type and play music doing all that stuf. She really doesnt care what kind she just wants her battery life to be around 3 hours using wireless internet.

It's $99, but you have to sign up for a lot of bogus things (that cost money), so without any of that stuff, it's $299 at Circuit City.
