Re: DELL E1505 vs HP dv6000t
well i think that the hp looks better than the dell, i also think that the dell's core2duo processor is better than the core duo processor in the hp, i also think that...well i know that you have to change the x1300 to x1400 in the dell because the x1300 is useless, and the x1400 is waaaaay better, and ive heard that hp's build quality is better too...so in the end...i dont know which one to get >.<

Re: DELL E1505 vs HP dv6000t
Just get te dell it has better processor and a bigger hard drive. But get the x1400. If you cant spend the 20 doller upgrade to the x1400 then get the hp. The dells procesor is really nice.

Re: DELL E1505 vs HP dv6000t
If you aren't playing games, then a powerful video card is not necessary, so don't even worry about it. Take a look at the HP dv6000z; it comes with the AMD Turion 64 processor, but more importantly, is cheaper. Its integrated video card should be plenty.
The HP has better build quality and a nicer design than the Dell, so go for that.

C2D is a 64-bit processor, and is compatible with the 64-bit version of Windows Vista.

Re: DELL E1505 vs HP dv6000t
Core 2 Duo and Core Duo have minor differences, with Core 2 Duo slightly better. The most obvious difference is Core 2 Duo is 64-bit, but most programs won't need 64-bit for a long time.
I'd recommend the HP Pavilion dv6000t over the Dell Inspiron E1505. It has better build quality and design.
