If you really like the MBP then I would suggest it, but Iam pretty sure it would fit the 1500 Candadian dollars though. So I would probably suggest the Asus W7s. Its 13inches but it does a lot of everything you do and its under 1500. And its pretty stylish imo. I am not really sure what else to suggest. Or you can look up the Asus F8 and the F3 I think that would fit your bill a little more.

Re: please help, going to college
then way above my budget is the g1s by asus as well. This seems very powerful, and stylish.
Is it worth going up to $2000 for it? Also what are those things on the side that look like green lights?
Answer:
Re: please help, going to college
they are just basically flashing lights when u play games and stuff, you can turn it off. Asus laptops make a wide range of laptops going from cheap and good quality(1200-1500) to very good quality in the ranges of 2000-3000 dollars. Also if your willing to spend around 1650-1700 there is a group buy type thing going on for the V2s/F8 which are 14 inchers but have very good quality and performance.

Re: please help, going to college
The Asus G1S is a very good 15.4 inch notebook. Probably the most powerful 15.4 inch gaming notebook out there. It also has a very flashy design.

Re: please help, going to college
with the G1S, you might not get your 2 hours of battery life. I would recommend the Asus F8SV (14.1inch screen) or the V1S(15.4 inch screen) or V2S (14.1 inch screen). Currently there are group buys for the F8 and the v2. Group buys is when a large order of a certain laptop are placed. A large order might allow buyers to be privy to a discounted price and possibly free stuff. The group buys for the V2 and f8 are still in the making as the notebooks won't be out for another couple of weeks. Check them out, its a link on my signature and you can post questions there
