Re: openions on this one?
I wouldn't realy trust that company, but if some trustable company (ASUS, HP, IBM and so on) had made it than it would be intresting. ;)

Re: openions on this one?
You can get a very good spec'd XPS Gen2 for that price as well!
Check Reseller Ratings for the company.

I don't even see anything on RR for that company

Re: openions on this one?
Don't mind them, they are Dell fanboys who can only suggest either the 9300 or XPS.
Clevo are good computers. I own one myself. You can't find much about them because Clevo is the company that makes the computers for Sager, Alienware, and several other boutique gaming companies. Those companies sell them under their names. They are just as "trustable" as the companies listed above.
I haven't heard of buydirectpc.com before, and their website does not say whose computers they are selling. I would buy it from someone else.
That computer looks like the Sager 4791. I would look around at the different site that sell Sagers. You can get it cheaper from a reseller most of the time than from Sager directly.

Re: openions on this one?
Dude, I'm not a fanboy.
I'm just suggesting the XPS Gen 2 because:
1) It looks like he wants a large desktop replacement
2) Looks like its for gaming
3) Willing to spend $2400+
The XPS Gen 2 clearly fits all of them and costs less, and generally, best bang for the buck.
And regarding the Sager 4791, http://www.pctorque.com/sager-4791-gaming-laptop.php

Re: openions on this one?
I never specify said that you were. I posted that because it seems like every thread that someone asks about a computer that is not an ultra portable that you get two or three posts in a row saying to buy one of the two Dells. Frankly it is insulting to the OP. You (plural form of you) treat him, and other like him, like they know nothing about laptops. The guy has 12 posts. He has had to have heard about the XPS. If he liked it, he would look into on his own.
There is no need to act like teenage girls and start screaming about it every time someone asks a question.

Re: openions on this one?
That seems like a last generation computer, no offense. Get one with DDR2 and PCI Express graphics.
For that price, get a Dell XPS2 and be sure to use the coupons.
The Go6800 destroys the 9700 like a sledgehammer to a glass pot :p
