Click on Windows Experience Index, then post a pic of that and I will tell you why.
Chances are you are running a Nvidia card which don't have halfway decent Vista drivers as of now. Jon gets 3.2 with his Intel integrated graphics which is the same score as my Nvidia Go 7400 talk about depressing. Whose fault is it?

I've got about nine anti-Vista threads on him right now...please, either stop complaining or ask us for help.
Anyway, a lot of those scores are going to be impacted by current (poor) drivers. And 768MB of RAM...no wonder...:( Integrated card doesn't help either...
Real question you need to ask yourself: does it truly feel slower and is it really slower? If no, then don't worry about it. If yes, we'll help.

I really wish people would stop complaining about WEI scores. They are relatively meaningless for any comparitive purpose. A couple of examples:
1) An AMD system with 1 GB of DDR-400 RAM and an Intel system with 2 GB of DDR2-667 RAM get the same RAM score (a 4.5).
2) An Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 and an Intel GMA 950 get the same score (about a 3.2).
As for the OP's score, I'm sure its caused by his GeForce Go 7200. I get a 2.7 because of that card. I'm not sure why his is lower (probably because it looks like he only has 768 MB RAM), but I can't imagine anything else being that low.
But, again, WEI isn't a "real" benchmarking tool, and comes up with scores based on very odd criteria that don't mean much in reality.

Honestly, anything less than 1GB of RAM won't cut it with Vista no matter what MS says. Vista uses around 600MB at first boot, so only having 768MB is a limit right there. Plus, complain about an arbitrary score when it affects only YOUR laptop and not everyone elses, indicating a unique problem that we can help you with. Otherwise, go harass nVidia, your score isn't going to improve any other way.

Mine is a 2. I have the Turion x2 w/ 2gb mem, nVidia. Essentially low score for gaming. This is just an average score. Some parts (don't recall) hit at 5.

Give updated drivers a try. I did it on my X1700 and the score jumped from 4.3 to 4.4.

I get 4.3 because of my RAM for some reason, it's 2 gig, but it's slow I think :(
Everything else is at 4.7
