SZ fingerpint doesn't work with IE7
It seems that SZ fingerpint recognition sofware only works with IE7 first window only and doesn't work with FireFox 7 at all. Any workaround on this? Any chance that Sony will update the software and post it online?

;) FF v2 support is included in UPEK's Protector Suite QL v5.6 which appears to be newer than the one came with my SZ...
... so the $60k question: how can we get the update?:confused:

PS: UPEK's Support/Download page redirects you to Sony but there's only v5.3.0.2813 available, still no sign of v5.6... :(

I found v5.5 at IBM and some other newer at Asus - no v5.6 so far but I'll take a look at these as I'm a FF2 user too (though I doubt these aren't customized versions...)
PS: older one supposedly won't help as v5.4 is older than FF2 - Toshiba users already noted it: http://forums.computers.toshiba-euro...threadID=18110

Cannot use my biometric proc, not even if I install the supplied driver.:(
