SL3150HD
I'm looking at the SL3150HD at Office Max for only 799.99 after rebate. It looks pretty solid and has everything I want. My only concern is the quality of Averatec computers. Thanks for any input.

I haven't heard much either way about them. I was looking at that model for a while, but I did not like the keyboard especially the delete key and spacebar on it. The keyboard was also too flexible for my taste.
I finally got an HP zx5000, it was a little heavier, less battery life, but for a little bit more it seemed to be a much sturdier machine with more graphics, and processing power.

It is fun to see all the commotion over the Averatec H series notebooks. They offer just so much for the price tag. For $799, you can't go wrong for a nice lightweight 4lb. portable with a magnesium alloy case, integrated Wi-Fi, etc. provided you will plan to use it for basic tasks (i.e. Word Processing, email) and not as a desktop replacement. Provided you are looking for this type of use out of this model, it could definately be the right notebook for you.

Hey,
I don't know much about computers but i saw the Averatec at Sam's and I loved the price and how small it was. So I've been looking up info on it. It seems that people don't have much complains about it but is it good for me even if i don't know much about all the tec? I'd appriciate any help and advice from anyone.
