I hear you strom. Check out anandtech.com on vista 64 bit guide. 64 Bit too much trouble right now bro. I use sh**t load of different softwares and dont wana put up with bottlenecks and compatibility issues. i will wait perhaps till December that is when Service pack 1 for Vista is due out. I am gully aware of the 4gb rams potential with 64 bit Vista.
My background is with computer sciences. I can tell you with a complete money back guarantee when it comes to system level designing (coding of applications or OS) that no matter what operating system one use RAM is important so is Level 1 and Level 2 Cache.
Most important thing in your comp RAM and CPU Cache.
Most expensive component with respect to size and performance is again CPU Cache.

I can picture my self playing Tiberium wars on Lufthansa or Delta as the Moron next to me watch Spider man 3 on his 6 inch 320*240 Seat monitor Lmao :p :p

Ahh Wave, i see your location Frankfurt! Thats why the seating and Lufthansa caught your eye :-)
No, economy class of the current Boeing 777s don't offer power outlets at the seats same case with Emirates. Almost all Business classes do. I heard new Airbus A 300 should have it even in economy.
I usually get up and ask the hostess if i can charge it near their food cabins. Would be scary though to leave it there getting charged as they serve Coffee huh!

Yes I have had my share of cramped Lufthansa flights. Been lucky enough to get upgraded to business class most of the time. How do you use a 17" laptop in an economy class seat?
Have you ever tried chargeing your laptop in the bathroom? In some airplane bathrooms they have a poweroutlet for electronic shavers. Works for laptops too but you cant stay in there too long.
