N3510 screen is terrible!

Question:
N3510 screen is terrible!
I just received my N3510 and have to say that the Color Enhanced Crystal View LCD is not all it's cracked up to be. I just uploaded some pics of my Sony FS550 (XBRITE 2) sitting next to my old Toshiba A75-S229 (TruBrite) and new Fujitsu N3510 so you all can see for yourselves. I also wanted to share some other (mostly negative) impressions of the N3510:
- it runs hot, which is surprising given the thickness of this laptop. my FS550 is quite thin yet it always seems to run cool.
- the wireless performance is terrible. It barely connected with my access point and refused to load most pages, while the Toshiba and Sony had no trouble at all.
- the keyboard on the N3510 is my least favorite of the three - too stiff and the spacebar makes a terrible clicking sound.
- a picture is worth a thousand words:

Answer: you sure you had the brightness set to the maximum?
I agree with you on all the other issues though.
But I never had problems with my wireless. I was picking up an "Excellent" signal, and that's from access points located all over my apartment building, not from an access point sitting right next to me!

ETA Unknown: N6010 waiting for screen repair [:(]
Answer: I tend to disagree with you. Maybe you have a faulty LCD? I had a N3510 and a Toshiba M45 next to it to compare their screens. The Fujitsu is brighter and a lot more crisp than the Toshiba.
I also had the N3510 next to the N6010. Both screen had the same brightness, but N3510's screen was a lot more crisp and displayed more vivid colours. I could tell because they both had max brightness and the same wallpaper.
Answer: Yes - the brightness was set to maximum on all three machines. I even double-checked everything in Display properties to be sure.
The wireless signal I was picking up is actually from an access point in another room. the PCMag review indicated that wireless performance was weak but it was far worse than I had expected.
On the positive side, Fujitsu's support is amazing - much better than Sony's. But they just can't seem to build a decent machine. I tried the N6010 but found the fans to be far too noisy, which was too bad because the screen was superb and I really liked the keyboard. oh well, at least I have my FS550.
Answer: Something is wrong. I have tha S6231 with crystal view, and it is every bit as bright as a Sony xbrite, is much less reflective, and has wider viewing angles. It is also outdoor viewable.
Also, my wireless reception is phenomenal.
Answer: It's definitely possible that I had a faulty LCD. If you look at those pictures I think you'll agree that the Sony's XBRITE is much brighter than the N3510's LCD. The Sony produces a more true white while the Fujitsu looks gray. that's just my opinion.
Answer: My N3510's new screen renders color and does it very vibrantly. It's much better than my C2330's screen. I had several people comment on how good the C2330's screen was, I can't wait to show them the N3510's.
Also, my wireless performance is extremely good. I can connect to routers down the street.. lol.....
Perhaps there was a problem with yours?
Answer: Yeah, there's something wrong with your screen there. My N3510 has a bright, brilliant, very white screen. I set the brightness at 4/8, because it's so bright!!
You get used to the warm upper front left part of the laptop within day or two. I used my laptop for about 8 hours straight yesterday, and I never noticed the heat. It's actually nice to keep your hands warm and toasty. [:D]
And I adore the keyboard. My wireless connection is stable and strong as well.
Answer: oh, by the way, does the screen swivel back 180 degrees?
Answer: Yes, the screen does swivel back, actually farther than 180..
