150$ is very cheap! The specs are a bit slow, of course.

I just noticed that... it is a scam for sure... you are better of getting a laptop from:

Re: Medison Celebrity
heh...no.
No I checked them out. They don't have to pay an arm and a leg to Microsoft for certification or licenses and are using older hardware. I think the specs are great for someone who only needs a notebook to check email, surf the web, check stocks, post on message boards. :D
This is what they need to give the kids in school instead of those 500 dollar dells that they break so easily.

I saw this laptop on Crave.com this morning. Nice laptop for a kid. $150.00. You can upgrade the memory to 1 gig, and upgrade the Hard drive later if need. Nice laptop.

For the price, it would make a good machine to put the version of Linux you like on it. I might consider one to put Ubuntu Linux on it. Would be the perfect fit.

Re: Medison Celebrity
It's way too good to be true. Just add up the cost of all the parts. Guessing 90 for the screen, 60 for the battery, oops just hit 150. Hmm. Plus apparently their pics were stolen from another site...
And Windows usually costs around $70 for OEMs so that isn't why laptops are expensive.
