How do you change the registration of your notebook?
Like when you "right-click" on "My Computer" and go to "Properties" it says "Registered to:" I want to change that.
And don't say I have to reinstall Windows all over again...

Some software like tuneup utilities 2006 can do it, among a million other things. But I don't know of any software that is designed for that specifically

i use tune-up...it can only change the "windows internet explorer" in the browser title bar...
other then that, i cant found a way around it....

in "tuneup utillities 2006" in customize & analyze tab > tune up system control
administration > system > general
there you can change registration info and you can also add a logo, like the one manufacturers put in there. (settings button on bottom)

Dosent it bother you guys that we need to resort to 3rd party soft to do a stupid lil thing like changing your name?.... Btw there's also the fun way of doing it, scan the windows files for your name @ 2 GB itl take a few hours tho unless you got the registry adress.... N it also might be encrypted :rolleyes:
